Mother Lucille Pollock, 96 of the Kellumtown Community, Hubert, NC, returned to her Heavenly Father, at 10:10 June 25, 2012 while a patient of Onslow Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held Saturday June 30, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Kellumtown with Rev. A. M. Kelly Officiating.
Burial will immediately follow in the Kellumtown Community Cemetery, Hubert, NC.
Ms. Pollock, one of the oldest members of the Kellumtown community was well loved and respected by her family, church family and community.
She has been a member of 1st Baptist Church of Kellumtown for more than five decades. She served as the assistant supervisor for the Sunday School Dept., was president of the senior choir and was a member of the Missionary Dept. Her transition proved how much she was loved; she was surrounded by the presence of deacons, trustees, missionaries, family members and friends at her bedside. Mother Pollock will be greatly missed.
Survived by daughter Gail M. Childress of Jackson, MS and Theta D. Lambert of Hubert,
Visitation 6-8pm Friday, June 29, 2012 at Saunders Funeral Home.
